Focal Press is part of the Taylor Francis Group. Committed to publishing high quality books filled with practical hands-on information, Focal Press publishes titles dealing with cutting edge tech/design and software. I was very pleased to be contacted by the publisher (based in America) who is including my ‘Web Factory‘ project in their next release titled, “Adobe Edge Start to Finish.”
Designed from concept through to completion. Graphics were designed using Adobe Illustrator and then I saved the vector graphics as PNG-24 files. I used Adobe Edge Animate to create the interactivity and animation using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript to ensure reliability across modern browsers and mobile devices. Using Adobe Audition, I edited the factory noise and used the HTML5 audio tag to house the mp3 and ogg files. Alice, Katia and Bobby designed their own characters, which I later built into the site.
